Default Excel Filters

Hi there. Hoping an Excel guru out there can help me!

I have an excel spreadsheet with filters applied. I have cells in
spreadsheet that are both merged and unmerged. When I filter by column A
(merged cell), it only picks up one line of data. I lose other data that is
not associated with merged cell.

Is there any way around this?

Thanks!
Josie

Merging multiple cells to one create a larger single cell which Excel treats
as such.

Unmerge the cells.

They cause no end of problems, one of which you are seeing.
