Default Displaying column and row names

I have a spreadsheet where someone has hidden just the column name (A, B, C -
AZ and so on) as well as the numbered row names. How do I get them to
display on the screen? I do not want to hide/unhide entire columns or rows,
I know how to. I want to see the alpha and numeric names on the top and side
of the screen. Without them one cannot select the entire column by clicking
on the column name.
