Default if formulas

In G8

=IF(E8="X",G4*M8,"") will take care of the two conditions in your example.

What if E8 is not blank but also is not "X"?

I'm trying to create a formula that does the following. Can you help me put
it in the right format?

if E8=X, then G8=G4*m8
and if E* is blank, leave blank
