Hi -
I'd like to create a rather unique (I think so anyway) chart but need some help in doing so ... there are two parts to this chart ... Chart data is set up like this: Col E: Store number Col F & G: a dollar value (formula based) Col H - S: percentages cells H7:S7: x-axis labels (month names) The first part would change the charted range based on the selected store number -- so, if the user selected cell E8, data in cells H8-S8 would be charted (simple line graph). If user then selected E12, the charted would change accordingly. It would be great to be able to chart multiple stores at the same time. The 2nd part may be a bit more challenging and is really a 'like to have' feature ... in addition to the line-graph above, I'd like to plot the value in col F for the selected store(s) on the SAME chart. Preferably, these would be vertically positioned bars and be plotted on the secondary y-axis. So, the graph would like this: primary y-axis: percentages (for line graph) secondary y-axis: dollars for vertical bars primary x-axis: 1 or more vertical bars, plotted on secondary axis (no x-axis label) AND then the line-graph of 12 monthly percentages plotted on primary axis. Can either/both of these be done? Links to existing solutions are welcome, as I'm a 'teach myself to fish' kinda guy .... I wasn't able to find any before posting this request. Thanks, ray |
