Default Formulas

Hi there...I just attempted to update my budget on an excel file and none of
the formulas are working. It's almost as if I locked up the file from
calculating. I have Excel 2003. Does anyone know where I went wrong? This
has never happened before. Thanks!

Thanks to Sandy Mann...your reply on another formula problem post helped me
out. For those who didn't see the other post,

under tools/options/calculations...you need to change from manual to
automatic. It works!

I'm glad that it helped you as well. Excel takes the Automatic/Manual
setting from the first Workbook that is opened in that session, so every W/B
opend after that will switch to Manual even if it had last been saved with
Calculation set to Automatic.
