I have a simple formula =CONCATENATE(A55,C55) However, once I press
enter the formula doesn't perform what I want it to do... it just displays
=CONCATENATE(A55,C55) and I don't know how to fix this or why it started?

it's simplier......
=A55 & C55

Make sure the cell is not formatted as text

.... and then re-enter the formula after you've reformatted the cell.
