Default Code libraries what format stored in? just out of interest

Hi everyone,

I've just been looking back at older posts and noticed that some people
refer to their code library.

Being of a nosey disposition, I just wondered how people stored code? Are
there ways of making it searchable?

I'm expecting it to be in Excel. Am I right?

Many thanks
