Default Is there a way to identify japanese characters?

Hello,

I have a list of titles and chapters in English, French, German, and
Japanese. I would like to move the Japanese titles to a separate document.
Is there a function I can use to identify japanese characters, like = if a2
contains a japanese character, then print 1, else print 0 ??

I know I can remove some of them by sorting, but i have titles and table of
contents data in different columns, and sometimes the japanese characters
appear in the title column, and other times they appear in the chapter column
when the titles are in english.

Many Thanks.
