Default Time Trouble

I would like to put a date and time in A1 and a later date and time in
A2 and have B2 to show the difference between these 2 times in hours
to 2 digits .

Does anyone know how this can be done?

Thanks

Thank you, I get hours, minutes and seconds. What I would like is
hours only to 2 digits where 9:15 would show as 9.25.

Thanks

=(B2-A2)*24 and format the result as number or general.

By my reckoning, if the result of B2-A2 is 9:15, it looks to me that my
formula does return 9.25. And isn't 9:15 hours and minutes anyway?
