Default Excel Web Services 2007

Would be curious to know what the current plan for the kind of automation
which has previously been available in Excel through VBA programming.

I understand that this functionality will not run in Excel Web Services
right now. If there is not a plan to allow this through VBA in the future,
will a corresponding C# development pathway be available (in order to develop
such things as forms and automated data changes)?

Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.
