Office 2007 trial to include Excel services
It appears that Excel services has not been included in any of the Office
2007 trial downloads. As Sharepoint integration is a key feature that I want to demonstrate to users, is it possible to release a version that includes the facility to Publish to Excel services? ---------------- This post is a suggestion for Microsoft, and Microsoft responds to the suggestions with the most votes. Likely the trial you use has the same limitation: not a Office Professional

Office 2007 trial to include Excel services
I'm just a little fuzzy on something here, can't seem to find a simple
answer. I have Office 2007, the real thing, not the trial version. But I do NOT have the 'Publish to Excel Service' option available to me, even though I have installed MOSS 2007 to a server and connected to it via ODC. SHOULD my Excel 2007 have Excel Services, and what do I have to do to get it? Is there an update/upgrade? I don't need a trial version of anything, I've got the full app. Any help/guidance would be most appreciated. Thanks! "bobostra" wrote: Fixed, whoo hoo! Office 2007 trial to include Excel services
It also depends on what version of MOSS 2007 you installed. The Excel
Services, like the Forms Services are only available under Enterprise License. Mark "KVollero" wrote: I'm just a little fuzzy on something here, can't seem to find a simple answer. Office 2007 trial to include Excel services
We have the Enterprise version of MOSS 2007. Excel Services is included, and
I have it up and running on the MOSS sites. I've used it to open up some Web Access web parts, and link to spreadsheet files. They display, but do not allow online modification as a thin client. This, I think, may be a function of my Excel 2007 version, which doesn't allow publishing to Excel Services. That's the best guess I've come up with, anyway. Thanks for the quick response! Got any more info? We have MS Office Professional 2007, what do I need to do to activate/acquire the Excel Services feature for Excel?
