If two instances of Excel open top right "X" close only one
Is there any way in excel to force the top right most "X" (Close) to
only close the current instance of excel? Currently, even if excel is opened in different instances the top right most "X" will close all instances. I can force excel to always open in a new instance, which solved half my problem. But now I can't figure out any way to make it only close one at a time (minus forcing everyone to remember to hit the proper button or hotkeys). Thanks for any input. |

If you truly have two instances of Excel running, hitting the "X" will not close
both instances. Maybe you just have two workbooks open in the same instance.
