I have a table with a column of data that has merged cells with a value in
it, I would like to unmerge the cells, but retain the value of the cell in all of the unmerged cells instead of only the top cell. Is there a way or macro to do this? |

After unmerging, highlight all the cells in that column in your table,
then press F5 (GoTo) and click on Special, then on blanks - you should see only the blank (unmerged) cells highlighted. Then begin to type a formula by entering = and then click on the cell immediately above the first cell that is selected and then CTRL-ENTER. Now you can fix the values in that column using <copy and Edit | Paste Special | Values. Hope this helps.
