Default Copying selected data and headings

I want to copy worksheet headings and a selction of data toinsert into a
powerpoint slide-however whan I try to selct the data the scroll bar moves
and shows all the data

If by "headings" you mean the column headings like A, B, C etc.

You cannot copy the headings without copying the entire columns you have
selected.

Try a snapshot/capture type application to take a picture of the headings and
the range.
