when pressing forward slash key numbers appear below headings
You can prefix your entry with an apostrophe: '/whatever goes here
Or you can turn off a Transition setting. In xl2003 menus: tools|Options|transition tab| remove the / character from "Microsoft Office Excel menu key:" box Folkcamper wrote: I appear to have set the forward slash ket (/) so that it does not appear in the selected cell but initiates numbers to items on the toolbars. If I do a sequence of keys with the forward slash in the sequence then it types OK -- Dave Peterson |
