See column or row total on bottom of worksheet?
I need to highlight the numbers in a column or row and see the total in the
tool bar at the bottom of the worksheet. It does not appear on my computer. Please note I don't want to put in a formula. |

right click on the toolbar

First make sure if the numbers aren't text. if they are numbers,
right click on the Status bar (this is the correct name) and make sure if sun is selected hth -- regards from Brazil Thanks in advance for your feedback. And make sure that the statusbar is visible.
In xl2003 menus: tools|options|view tab|check status bar (in the Show section) You can rightclick on those "embossed" boxes and choose different functions, too.
