I'd look under Tools|References to see if any of the checked items are shown as
MISSING. Then uncheck those. If that doesn't work, maybe reregistering excel will help: Close Excel and Windows Start Button|Run excel /unregserver then Windows Start Button|Run excel /regserver (Both of these are just guesses!)
