Pasting Spreadsheet into Word
I would like to paste a spreadsheet into a Word doc for a report. I tried
doing it with copy/paste, but the lines show. Is it possible? Thank you. -- Marianne |

Pasting Spreadsheet into Word
Does this mean that you like the pasted table, just don't like the borders?
If that's what you mean, you can click in a cell in that table (in MSWord) and then Table|Hide gridlines. If that's not what you mean, you may want to explain. Pasting Spreadsheet into Word
Actually, it's a balance sheet that I want to include in a report in Word.
When I copy the data from the spreadsheet and paste it into the Word doc, it goes in fine, but there are dotted lines where the grid liines would be normally. Can they be removed? Pasting Spreadsheet into Word
I used xl2003 and MSWord 2003 for that last post.
Are you sure those dotted lines are gridlines? Could they be borders that you've applied to the range in Excel? Anyway, when I selected the cells in the table (in MSWord), I could see a "Table Tools" on the title bar. I was able to remove the grid lines in Excel and then again in Word. Do you
know how I can shrink the text to fit one page? Right now, it spills onto a second page. In word or excel?
I'm guessing MSWord...I would think you'd have to change the font size or margins. If that's not it and you don't get any better answers, you may want to ask in an MSWord forum. Pasting Spreadsheet into Word
Thanks. It would be Word. In Excel there is a feature in Page Layout to
size it to fit by a percentage. I was able to get an entire spreadsheet on one page, but not on one page of a Word doc.
