I have a report that has a group header (Fund Name) beginning at C12.
Transactions commence at row 14 starting in Col B. This repeats for each date (my example data ceases at B26). There is a gap of 4 blank rows before the next group header in C31. The transaction data commences again from B33. This repeats for each fund (usually around 20-30 each month) until the end of the report. The number of transaction per fund varies each period. Is there a formula that can sum each employee for each fund over all fund groups? Otherwise, I would like to add a helper column after Col D and repeat the name of the fund in each row of the new column(E) so each transaction has the fund name on the same row. Example: Row12:ColB:Payroll Cat, ColC: Fund A Row13:Blank Row14:ColB:Employee1, ColC: DateStart, ColD: DateENd, ColE: Fund A, ColF: $###. Repeats to Row 26....each employee can be listed more than once. Row27: Blank Row28: Blank Row29:Blank Row30:Blank Row31: ColB: Payroll Cat, ColC: FundB Row32:Blank Row33:ColB:Employee1 , ColC: DateStart, ColD: DateENd, ColE: Fund B, ColF: $###. And so on... -- Jim |
