Default Excel2007 limiting Pre-2007 Worksheet protection passwords to 15 c

Hi,
I'm having an issue using Excel 2007's password re-entry dialog box.
When I re-enter a desired password for worksheet content protection of a
worksheet in a Pre-2007 workbook, the dialog box's password re-entry field
only allows me to enter up to 15 characters, while Excel 2007's initial
password entry dialog box, that's displayed before the password re-entry
dialog box, allows me to enter more than 15 characters.
To the best of my knowledge, this issue did not occur in Pre-2007 versions
of Excel.
Can anyone replicate this?
