Default seperating a column into two

From your example, it looks like you can easily use TTC (Text To Columns),
which leaves actual data in the columns and not formulas, which may have to
be removed later.

Select the data, then, from the Menu Bar:
<Data <Text To Columns <Fixed Width <Next

Move the break line(s) as needed, then
<Finish
