Default "Adjust row height" not working properly

When I double-click on the row separator at the left, Excel adjusts the row
height to fit the contents of the cells.

At least, that's the way I think it's suposed to work. But what often
happens is that Excel adjusts the row height, but still does not show the
complete text.

Any suggestions?

I'm using Excel 2003.

Should work, unless there is a merged cell involved. Auto fit ignores
merged cells.

It should but it doesn't. No merged cells.

How much is "complete text

More than 1024 characters?

Add an Alt + Enter every 100 or so characters.

I don't know how big the cells are - but the text already is multi-line text,
all separated by Alt+enter.

To find out how many characters you're dealing with enter =LEN(cellref) in a
helper cell.

Make sure you're set for wrap text..........sounds like you are.
