Often, I remove data from the details used in a pivot table, but the pivot
table seems to "remember" the old data. When filtering in the table, it lists all of the values which are no longer in the data. How can I fully refresh the pivot tables so as to remove this old information? Sometimes, have many pivot tables in a given file and surely don't want to re-create all of them. |

There are instructions here for clearing old data from the pivot table:

Thanks Debra - worked like a charm and I don't even know how to write basic
programs, just pasted it in as macro and it worked great!!
