Default auto recovery

I have a large spreadsheet where the data is populated via an MS Query
function however it appears that auto recovery is still functional even
though i have indicated in my options to disable for the specific
spreadsheet. Since the size of this spreadsheet causes the auto-recovery to
take a while is there some other option that i have overlooked that will stop
this action from taking place.
