I have formatted my column for word-wrap but when pasting in text (from
Word), the word-wrap is ignored and the text is pasted in one long line, as if over-riding the formatting of the cell. Is there a way to 'lock' word wrap so that it cannot be over-ridden? |

You can click in the formula bar (or press F2) and do the paste there
(ctrl/v) -- that should leave the cell formatting intact. Is there a limit on the amount of text that is pasted into a cell? All of
the pasted text is not showing up no matter how bit I resize the cell and wrap the text. -- wagnew "Bob Umlas, Excel MVP" wrote: You can click in the formula bar (or press F2) and do the paste there (ctrl/v) -- that should leave the cell formatting intact. Exzcel help on specifications state you can enter 32767 characters in a cell
but only 1024 of these will display or print. You can add a linefeed every 100 characters........Alt + ENTER...........to increase the 1024 limit. Thanks for the reply - since I posted my question, I have now seen all the
