Default Excel 2003 colum

does anyone know if it is possible to increase the number of colums in a
single worksheet from 256 to 400 for excel 2003 ?

It's not possible.

But xl2007 has 16384 columns--maybe it's time for an upgrade????

The only way to increase the number of columns would be to upgrade to 2007
