Default Printing as a PDF file in Excel 2007

Hi, I have tried saving my file as PDF , but if i try via the 'publish as PDF
/ XPS option from the main office window in top left of excel , i always get
the following message "Document not saved. The doucment may be open, or an
error may have been encountered when saving". Any suggestion how I resolve
this, or how else I cna print my document as PDF? Thanks v much
