Default pie explosion

i have created a pie chart using the chart type Pie Explosion. i am having
several formatting issues with this chart.
1. I have the following label Foundation (incl El Salvador). on the chart
it appears with the parenthesis inverted like this - Foundation )incl El
Salvador(

2. i can't seem to expand or contract the text boxes that contain the
labels and title. i can move them, but not change their sizes.

Thanks in advance for your help.

I've heard of this and seen screen shots, but I don't recall ever
experiencing it directly. Perhaps if you adjust the font name or size?

This is the way data labels work, unfortunately. You could remove the data
labels and add your own text boxes, which you can resize to suit. However,
text boxes are static and don't move with the chart elements.

Yes, hardly anything was changed in Excel 2007 charting, except the dialogs
are less friendly, and you can overdo the formatting much more easily.
