when I type something into a cell generally when I press enter key it will
move down to the next cell, somehow this has stopped working I'm sure I press something accidently could somone help ? |

If you are working in 2007 - click on the pearl - upper left corner.
click on Excel options (next to exit Excel) click on Advanced Uncheck mark the first editing options..... HTH.... Try going to Tools--Options--Edit and check to see if the checkbox that has
"Move Selection after Enter" is checked. If thats not it then Im afraid I don't know what else it can be. excellent, thank you! it's back to working order now I don't know how I

lol, that is interesting, especially if you haven't been in the options in
the first place. Maybe there is some weird shortcut key combination that disables, but im pretty sure there isn't.
