hi
2 things you can try. xl views a query table as a named range. so on the meun bar.... insertnamedefine look of a named range like query_from_Access_database or similar. deleted it. if that doesn't work.... go to were the querytable was. right click the upperleft corner of the query range. look on the popup for data range properties. if there click it. if there, you should get a property page. at the top uncheck save query definition. you will get a message saying you are about to permanently delete the table. click yes. if neither of these work, i don't know what to do next. transfer data to a new file. hope this helps Regards FSt1 "Question Boy" wrote: I had tried to import data from an access database. It didn't work so I delete the table and continued other tests. I finally have thing setup the way I need them but now when I iopen the spreadsheet it keeps giving me an error about the initial data source. How can I permanently remove the data source from my spreadsheet. Is there no listing of data sources for the current spreadsheet from which one can delete/edit/...? Thank you, QB |
