When I open up a spreadsheet on my laptop it looks for links and takes a long
time. Some spreadsheets are very old or very large and will not open properly at all - they go through the recovery process. However, the same spreadsheet has no problem on my desktop. My desktop does not look for links when it opens. How can I set up my laptop to not look for links. I know I can do this after I open the spreadsheet (tools\option\etc), but I need to turn off this feature before I open the spreadsheet. I did not have this probelm with my prvious laptop. This has started only recently when I got my new laptop - Dell D630. We do our own office installation. |
