Hi,
Select you column of data then Data|Filter|Advanced filter Select 'Copy to another location' Type the address of the topmost cell in the destination box or navigate to it Leave criteria box empty check unique records only Click OK Mike "Ajit Munj" wrote: I have over 3000 values in column 1 which have duplicate values. Dear MIKE
Thanx. I did it. But for testing purpose, I fed 1,2,3,4,1,3 in another sheet and experimented. When I copied the same data with Advanced filter with unique records only box checked, value 1 got copied twice. How comes? -- Knowldege is Power "Mike H" wrote: Hi, Select you column of data then Data|Filter|Advanced filter Select 'Copy to another location' Type the address of the topmost cell in the destination box or navigate to it Leave criteria box empty check unique records only Click OK Mike "Ajit Munj" wrote: I have over 3000 values in column 1 which have duplicate values. Your data needs a dummy heading too. The first 1 was assumed to b heading.
