Default copy unique cell - ajit

I have over 3000 values in column 1 which have duplicate values. I want to
copy only unique values in another column. How Can I do so?

Hi,

Select you column of data then
Data|Filter|Advanced filter
Select 'Copy to another location'
Type the address of the topmost cell in the destination box or navigate to it
Leave criteria box empty
check unique records only
Click OK

Dear MIKE
Thanx. I did it. But for testing purpose, I fed 1,2,3,4,1,3 in another sheet
and experimented. When I copied the same data with Advanced filter with
unique records only box checked, value 1 got copied twice. How comes?

Your data needs a dummy heading too. The first 1 was assumed to b heading.
