Have just installed Microsoft Office 2007 (am running Windows Vista
Ultimate). When I try send an Excel attachment through email, it takes around 10 minutes to go. On one occasion, it even said it was so large that the recipient could not accept it? It's only one page. Never had any problems with Excel 2003. I tried saving in the old format and the new format with the same results. Doesn't matter if I try to send while I am in Excel, or from my Outlook with an attachment. |

Renee - first, delete any empty worksheets. Then, in your active sheet, do a
ctrl-end to see where the end of your data is. If it takes you anywhere beyond the last active cell, highlight the first empty row, press function button F8 (you might have to turn on your F-lock on your keyboard), then Ctrl-down arrow - this should highlight all the rows to the bottom. From the pull-down menu click Edit / Clear / All. Repeat the same for all empty columns, save, then Ctrl-end again. It should then take you to the last active cell. If so, you've just reduced the size of the file. "RENEE" wrote: Have just installed Microsoft Office 2007 (am running Windows Vista Ultimate). I can follow what you are trying to do, but when I press F8 - nothing happens
and I have no idea what you mean by the F-lock on my keyboard. "smartgal" wrote: Renee - first, delete any empty worksheets.
