I have created a PivotTable and each time I add a Row, it automatically adds
a SubTotal row. Is there somewhere that can I change this default globally so I don't have to select each row and uncheck SubTotals. |

So you have a field list with fields that you can add or remove from your
pivot table. If you add a field to the table it will automatically be added with a aggregation such as sum or count. There is no way to turn this off. That being said if your source data is set up correctly you should not have more than a hand full of fields that need to be added to the table. -- HTH... After you've created the pivot table, you could use a macro to turn all
the subtotals off. There's code to do that in the pivot table add-in, that you can download he http://www.contextures.com/xlPivotAddIn.html Joey wrote: I have created a PivotTable and each time I add a Row, it automatically adds a SubTotal row.
