Excel is rounding numbers - regardless of the number of digits or column
width - and regardless of which format I select (phone number, soc sec number...) If I send the worksheet to another computer, it works fine. If someone sends a worksheet to me that is working properly, when I open it and add to it, the numbers are rounded. MAKE IT STOP!!!! |

When I enter 9184561272 in a cell with no formatting selected, I get 91845612
in the column and 91845612.72 in the edit box at the top If I select the phone number format, I get (9)184-5613 "JP" wrote: Can you provide an example? I found it! ToolsOptionsEditFixed decimal Places was checked. I
unchecked the box and everything is working fine. Must have done this with a keyboard shortcut and not been aware of it.
