Default Formatting Pivot Report

Every time I change the color or border on the pivot table/report cells the
same is removed back to default upon refresh. How to overcome such a problem?

Default Formatting Pivot Report

In PivotTable OptionsLayout & Format, select Preserve cell formatting on
update.
