2003 sp3 changes how text .xls files open
Before SP3 we renamed a text file to filename.xls and then executed
it (done by an automatic process) which made excel open it up with all contents in the first column. It was then up to the user to do a text to columns either by fixed size or delimited as they wanted. After SP3 Excel auto-delimits the file , and I cannot see a way to stop it from doing this as 99% of the time its delimiting is wrong. Can anyone help or am I stuffed. ps excel 2003 .. |
