Default Excel links to subfolder

I need to create an excel document that links to other documents, which i can
do using hyperlinks, the issue is i will create the main document and put all
the linked documents in a subfolder called surveys. All the documents will
then be saved onto my cleints server for the users to access and use. How can
I create the hyperlinks to reflect the path change or is there a way of
saying look in this subfolder for the files.

Thank you
