I downloaded the test-drive version of Excell 2007. Since the expiration has
expired, all my Excell files are saved as 2007 as read-only. Does anyone know how I can convert those files back to 2003? I read a posting that said save them as a 2003 file. How do I do that? I appreciate any assistance. |

Select Save As and the option to save to earlier version is found there.

Go here and download the compatibility pack that will allow you to open 07
files in 03... it's too late to save them as 03 files, since your 07 has expired, but the compatibility pack will allow you to still work with them in 03... http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en "prenfro" wrote: I downloaded the test-drive version of Excell 2007. I downloaded this. It is still brining my files up in 2007 and the data is
useless since it won't let me change, copy, paste, anything. I bring up excell 2003 open my file and then save it under a different name. When I go to open the new file, it brings it up in excell 2007 and I get the convert message and I am back to useless information. Any other ideas? It seems odd that Excel vs 2007 is still opening the file. Are you sure the
trial version has expired? Have you tried to open vs 2003 and then open the newly saved file from within that version? Rob "prenfro" wrote in message ... I downloaded this.
