Default Remove duplicate "new window"

I don't know what I clicked on but whenever I open the file, it opens up in
two windows; :1 and :2. How do I make the file to open only once?

Default Remove duplicate "new window"

Close one window (blue X below the red X at the top right-hand corner), then
save the workbook before closing the workbook. When you open the book
again, it will open only one window.
