I don't want the little dash in front of the amount to show it is negative. I
want the amount in parenthesis |

Hi,
you may get away with format|Cells|number and select the paren option from the dropdown. If negative brackets are not available then it's over to Windows StartSettingsControl PanelRegional and Language SettingsRegional OptionsCustomizeCurrencyNegative Currency Format. FormatCellsNumberNumberNegative Numbers.
