The traditional method of creating a web query uses the New Web Query menu
command found on the Data menu under Import External Data. It will be easy to retrieve all data within the specific web page. Does it have any advance features on selecting specific area of data within the web page? for example, when I import the web link http://finance.yahoo.com/q?s=%5EDJI, 12266.39 in cell B45, I only want to load this value within this cell for this web link. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to do it? Thank anyone very much for any suggestions Eric |
