How does one 'delete' a text box which had been superimposed onto various
cells of a worksheet??

hi
on the menu bar...
toolscustomizetoolbar tabcheck control toolboxchick close.
chick the design mode icon (looks like a ruler with protactor and pencil)
click the text box. press the delete key board key.
the text box should be gone.
to remove the control toolbox, repeat the above instuctions except uncheck
the control tool box.
