Default Can I freeze BOTH a column and a row in the same spreadsheet?

I wondered if there was a way to freeze a row and a column in the same
spreadsheet. I have frozen horizontally, but now I want to freeze
vertically. When I try to do this I am only given the option to "unfreeze
pane". Thanks for your help!! Todd
