Default Share 2007 files on SBS 2003 server - read-only doesn't display us

We have an SBS 2003 server which contains all data. Have recently upgraded
users from various Office versions to 2007. Now when a user opens a shared
excel document on the server he/she receives a note that the user name of the
person with the open file is "" and not details of the user.
