We can possibly hide several worksheets at a time, but is it also possible to
select several hidden worksheets and unhide them all at the same time?

Look for the addin called ASAP Utilities. A quick google will find it.
This is a very useful addin and there is a lot of stuff there that you will
never use, but you can hide and unhide multiple worksheets.
