Excel Speed Performance help
I have a rather large excel spreadsheet that is set up to manage two of my
businesses. One worksheet has Business A's income and expenses, one has Business B's income and expenses, and one has a consolidated view of both business's together. My problem is that ever since I created a complete consolidated view (for which 99% of the cells are just pointing to a value in one of the two business worksheets), that particularly worksheet has gotten painfully slow. All other worksheets run fast. Is there any way I can speed up the performance of this worksheet? Some info: 1. I have a Dell laptop running a 2.20GHz Intel Core 2 Duo CPU (T7500) with 3.50 GB Ram. 2. The worksheet that is painfully slow has 834 rows x "TY" columns (26*20?). 3. Total paging file size for all drives is 3881 MB. 4. Excel 2007 5. Windows Vista |
