Default Prompt to Open or Save the downloaded file

I have accidentally unchecked the box which prompts which asks whether to
Open or Save a downloaded excel as well as Word docoments from the internet.
How do you enable this prompt message again?? Sreesha

Default Prompt to Open or Save the downloaded file

One way:

(I use WinXP Home, it may be different for you)

Open Windows Explorer
View|Folder Options
File Types Tab
Scroll down to .xls (and .xlt and .xla and .doc and .dot and whatever you want)
Select that item
Click the Advanced button
Check the Confirm after download option

and ok/close your way out.
