You can insert a hyperlink to a document in a cell.

Maybe...
Could you use insert|hyperlink to that word document? Could you use insert|object with that word document? I would think that if you insert|object, that you'd want the object floating over more than a single cell. But be aware that only the first page of the MSWord document will show up.
