is there any way to add colors to microsoft excel's limited color pallate?

hi,
for 2003 and back....no. you can modify the existing 56 colors but that is
about it.
for 2007(which i have not worked with but have read the specs on) they are
claiming that you can have 16 million colors. ( i have not seen that yet.)
in xl help, type the word specifications. this will give you the
specification and limits of your verion of excel.
